Porsche 918 Spyder　堪稱2013法蘭克福車展最炙手可熱的全新車型，而它也是保時捷作為德國超跑的代表，挑戰法拉利　Ferrari LaFerrari　和邁凱倫　McLaren P1　的最新力作，這也是保時捷自己向911車型50周年這個歷史性時刻致敬的“禮物”。

該車將搭載插電式混合動力系統,采用4.6升　V8　中置發動機,同時搭配兩個電動馬達和一個6.8千瓦時的鋰離子電池組。發動機可輸出　447kw　和530牛米的扭矩,而電機分別可輸出　115kw　和　95kw。該動力系統使918　Spyder　總動力輸出最大可達887馬力，同時可輸出超過800牛米的扭矩。
