對于改裝廠AC Schnitzer來說，其對寶馬的任何一款車似乎都有改裝的興趣。針對寶馬1系M，AC Schnitzer也推出的相應的改裝方案。他們為這款車配備了一個碳纖維前擾流板、通風罩以及碳纖維擴散器和車頂擾流板。不僅外觀如此，內飾也采用了與外觀遙相呼應的風格，橙黑搭配的內飾與方向盤讓人耳目一新，內飾的改裝還包括了合金踏板和天鵝絨地毯。

在性能方面，AC Schnitzer將用于比賽調校的懸掛安裝在1系M上，經過ECU調校，發動機可迸發出400馬力的動力和560牛米的扭矩，這也使得車輛從靜止加速至100公里/小時只需4.7秒，而1系M的原廠百公里時速加速時間為4.9秒，提升了0.2秒，這款車的極速可達到300公里/小時。

這款車的制動套件也由AC Schnitzer專門打造，包括前6后4活塞的標準“性能配置”的制動卡鉗和前380毫米后355毫米的大尺寸通風制動。即使是在1系基礎上進行過強化的M Coupe也不算是能夠完全發揮出這套制動力“過剩”的套裝， 升級之后的強大的剎車系統即便應對提升的動力也可以收放自如。
