2007款捷豹XKR采用了輕量的鋁合金車身，XKR換上了直徑更大更厚的制動碟，前輪制動碟直徑從老款的326毫米增加到355毫米，厚度也由30毫米增加到32毫米，制動系統當然不只是加大制動碟尺碼那么簡單，還配備了四通道ABS防抱死制動系統、EBD制動力分配系統、BA制動力輔助系統以及電子駐車制動控制系統。
