英國McLaren（邁凱輪）汽車在MP4-12C高性能超級跑車上市一年之后，已準備要發表旗下第2款產品、敞篷版的MP4-12CSpider。

根據McLaren（邁凱輪）汽車最新發布的消息顯示，名車MP4-12C Spider敞篷超級跑車將于7月3日正式發表。為了吊一下車迷的胃口 McLaren(麥拉倫)汽車特別公布了首張 MP4-12C Spider的細微車身切割圖片，并錄制一段 Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1車手 Jenson Button述說敞篷車獨特駕馭感短片。

該車動力上搭載3.8升雙渦輪增壓發動機，最大功率輸出為616馬力，跑車的伸縮硬頂，每次開收只需要17秒的時間，百公里時速加速時間需要3.1秒，最高車速可達326公里/小時。
