對大多數人來說，“法拉利”是速度的同義詞，因為追求速度才是狂熱愛好者的目標。尤其在改裝專家眼中，法拉利性能比其他任何指標都重要。德國知名改裝公司Novitec Rosso的力作Race 848，就是將599 GTB Fiorano的功率值推向一個新高度。

在對動力系統的升級改進方面，法拉利599所搭載的6.0升V12發動機被安裝上了雙機械增壓器，同時，大尺寸中間冷卻器配合專用的水循環，優化了冷卻效果，吸氣設備、噴射器以及運動型空氣過濾器能夠為發動機吸入大量的新鮮空氣，從而提高燃燒效率。發動機電控單元也得到重新編程，以應對壓力更高、轉速更高的工作環境。這些改進使得發動機最大功率達到848馬力，峰值扭矩可達841牛米。Novitic Nosso將碳纖維換檔撥片裝在Race 848上，它能使6擋F1變速箱操控起來更得心應手。通過對撥片的操控，Race 848可在3.4秒內從靜止加速至100公里/小時，完成0～300公里/小時的加速也只需23.7秒，極速可達345公里/小時。

不僅如此，Race 848所配備的空氣動力套件經過嚴格的風洞測試，可在高速時提升下壓力，保持車身穩定，此時運動型懸掛系統提升車身高度，以避免地面上的障礙物，當車速低于80公里/小時時，車身還可恢復原來高度。

Race 848只會生產3輛，并在車內安有特制的編號銘牌，彰顯稀有特性。
