Ruf RGT8是以保時捷911為基礎，由Ruf量身打造的一款改裝車。Ruf RGT8大致延續了原廠車型的外觀風格，只是車尾的線條有著一點微妙的變化，彰顯其不同。

動力方面，Ruf在保時捷911的引擎室里植入一款由Ruf開發的V8自然進氣發動機，特制的水平式曲軸讓發動機在高轉速時有著獨特的聲浪，多項賽車化的技術也出現在這款發動機上，以達成縮小體積與輕量化的目標。發動機的最大功率達550馬力，峰值扭矩達到500牛米，這也使得Ruf RGT8的極速可飆至318公里/小時。 相對于保時捷的產品陣容，Ruf RGT8的定位于保時捷911 GT3大致相當，但相比保時捷原廠車型更加強勁的性能設定讓Ruf把保時捷911的性能發揮得更加淋漓盡致。
