在日內瓦車展上，曾多次參加并獲得DTM和ADAC GT比賽冠軍的ABT，有著非常豐富的改裝經驗，推出了一款限量版R8 GT-R。

外觀方面，ABT對R8 GT-R的改裝中，輕量化成為重要改裝項目，前后保險杠、側部擾流板以及電動可調尾翼都采用碳纖維材質，尾部的百葉窗也是使用了最新的聚碳酸酯材料，其強量化與強度都要超越碳纖維，使R8 GT-R減少了近100公斤。

內飾上，ABT在R8中融入Recaro的賽車座椅，四點式安全帶，大量碳纖維內部裝飾，并且ABT也提供客戶個性化訂制服務。

動力方面，搭載5.2升的V10發動機，最高輸出525馬力，這也令R8 GT-R從靜止加速至100公里/小時只需3.2秒，而達到200公里/小時也僅需9.9秒，算是公路錦標賽中當之無愧的強者。
