1989年一輛經過改裝的阿爾賓娜寶馬B10 Bi-Turbo誕生，今天，阿爾賓娜的工程師又將目光瞄準了BMW新5系。這就是我們眼前的阿爾賓娜寶馬 B5。它也算是對B10 Bi-Turbo的繼承，并且有了這個新名字.

單看它的內飾也能夠說明B5的非同一般，坐在駕駛室內目光平視，你會感覺到視野非常寬廣。儀表盤上的數據表動感十足且清晰易讀，一切都好像盡在掌握。

換裝了性能更為突出的剎車系統后，高速時只需要輕點剎車踏板，效果立竿見影，駕駛者真正做到了收放自如。為了達到更理想制動效果，B5還提供了一個雨天剎車盤烘干裝置，一旦雨刷器打開，這一功能就被激活。此時，剎車卡鉗會輕微的接觸摩擦剎車片，讓產生出的熱量把水分揮發掉。
