凱迪拉克CTS-V賽道版在2011年的底特律車展上首次公開亮相。這款賽車由凱迪拉克和Pratt & Miller公司聯合開發，車身后半部采用色彩繽紛的涂裝，同時還加裝了大量的空氣動力學套件，以提供更加優異的穩定性。CTS-V Coupe賽車的車身由輕量堅固的碳纖維打造而成，加裝的空氣動力學套件使其擁有極低的風阻系數。這款車的底盤與地面僅有幾毫米高，并加裝了了夸張的大型后擾流尾異，不過這也表明了這款車只適合在賽道上行駛。
