Nissan(日產)在2011年紐約車展中發布賽車版的 Leaf電動車:Leaf NISMO RC。這輛輕量化電動賽車除了與市售版 Leaf共用同一具鋰離子電池模組之外，其它部份皆經過大副度的改裝。

Nissan Leaf的隔音板、地毯、衛星導航與音響系統被拆除，搭配碳纖維單體式車體，Leaf NISMO RC的總車重僅 938公斤，比市售版 Leaf輕了40％。Leaf NISMO RC車身比 Leaf 長 20.3毫米、寬 170.1毫米、高度更降低了350.5毫米、而軸距也縮短了99毫米 。

為了提升操控性能，Leaf NISMO RC除了換上前后雙A臂型式懸掛系統、可調式煞車分配器、18吋鋁合金輪圈、以及 18英寸的 Bridgestone賽車胎之外，技師們更特別將 Leaf NISMO RC改裝成后輪驅動方式;實現更優異的加速與駕馭性能。

Leaf NISMO RC搭載了一組中置48個模塊鋰離子電池模組與電動馬達。電動馬達可提供最大功率為108馬力，從靜止加速至100公里/小時僅需6.85秒;最高時速為150公里/小時。在競賽中，Leaf NISMO RC估計將具有20分鐘的行駛時限。
