簡要說明	奧迪　RS5　的車頭采用類似奧迪　TT RS　的大進風口設計，車尾則會裝備自動升降尾翼。動力配置為全新開發的4　.2L FSI V8　自然吸氣發動機。為與寶馬　M3　抗衡，在2009年9月法蘭克福車展上正式發布了奧迪　RS5，其原型車繼續在紐堡林北側賽道進行測試，車身偽裝也被全數拆除，RS5　已經到了最后的測試階段。在法蘭克福車展發布之后，奧迪將在2010年第一季率先在歐洲市場發售　RS5。此車采用了高轉速的4.2升　V8FSI　發動機。經過工程師改造，這款用來驅動奧迪　RS4　的發動機被提升了30馬力，達到450馬力，峰值扭矩為430牛米，壓縮比高達12.3:1。在奧迪　quattro　全輪驅動系統和19英寸輪彀的協助下，此車從靜止加速到100公里/小時大約需要4.6秒，最高速度被電子限定在250公里/小時。
