簡要說明	科邁羅憑借《變形金剛》系列電影成了一款火熱的車型，而之前雪佛蘭正式表示將會開發科邁羅SS性能版車型，而現在在美國的一個電視節目中首次將新款科邁羅SS版正式曝光了，這款全新性能版車型在紐約車展上發布。在美國的LIVE with Kelly and Michael脫口秀節目中，一臺紅色的科邁羅SS版就展示在人們面前，同時主持詞還現場體驗了內飾。從外觀上來看，新款的SS版車型在外觀設計上參考了之前的ZL1車型，前臉的設計上更富有攻擊性，壓低的車頭造型以及大尺寸的中網都突顯了其性能的強勁，發動機罩上增加的進氣孔是為了給性能超強的發動機輔助散熱。更為值得關注的是尾部結構新變化讓我們看到了新的尾部樣式，采用大面積保險杠的設計同時還有大尺寸的尾翼，不過最為值得關注的是新款尾燈的設計樣式，而內飾上的變化暫時無法得知。動力系統上科邁羅將會提供三款完全不同性格的發動機，這其中包括了3.6升V6發動機，6.2升V8發動機以及性能超強的6.2升V8機械增壓發動機。前者最大功率輸出為327馬力，后者最大功率從輸出為432馬力和551馬力。
