簡要說明	在2007年的北美國際車展上，三菱首次展示了這款Eclipse Spyder。這款車在2005年推出的第四代Eclipse coupe的基礎上，用軟頂敞篷式設計突出了“激動駕駛”的特色。Eclipse Spyder的自動車頂完全展開和折疊所需要的時間僅為19秒。這款車的設計定位是要吸引所有年齡段的跑車愛好者，2007款三菱Eclipse Spyder采用了概念車中的所有特色，例如亮色LED和車燈等。動力方面，Eclipse Spyder憑借其260馬力的3.8升V6發動機挑戰那些更加昂貴的跑車，同時它搭配了標準的6擋手動變速箱，也可以選配5擋自動變速箱。GT的349牛米的扭矩使其能夠立即響應駕駛操作。在標配的6擋手動變速箱的配合下，Spyder GT能夠在7秒內從0加速到96公里/小時。三菱Eclipse Spyder GT的綜合特性還表現在兩款都標配的650瓦的Rockford Fosgate優質音響系統，其中包括六碟CD播放器，可以播放Mp3 和CD。這個系統專門為Eclipse Spyder GT而設計。 Eclipse Spyder GT還可選配優質運動套件，其中包括18英寸的合金輪轂和235/45 R18輪胎、皮質座椅表面、鋁制踏板、自動空調、加熱前座椅和車外反光鏡等配置。
