簡要說明	這款車是受一位不知名的客戶委托，邁凱倫MSO（McLaren Special Operations）部門對一輛F1進行了重新涂裝，同時，他們還專門打造了MP4-12C來與之相配，因此此次推出的是兩款車型。邁凱輪Project 8定制計劃包括了全新的運動套件，白色為主紅色為輔的運動套件不僅在視覺方面極具沖擊力，此外還由大量碳纖維材質打造。此套件還包括特殊的發動機蓋、紅色碳纖飾板還有獨特的輪轂設計。內飾方面，為了與其張揚的外觀內外呼應，車內采用了紅色的主要色調來刺激駕駛者的駕駛欲望。車內還配備了碳纖維方向盤以及紅色碳纖維飾板中控。動力方面，邁凱輪目前沒有公布這兩款車的具體動力數據，但從邁凱輪之前的表現來看，這款車注定是大馬力的公路“野獸”。
