簡要說明	繼承了1970年的寶馬2002 TII的傳統，AC Schnitzer把他們70年代的傳奇應用于寶馬最新的1系Coupe之上。這部ACS1有諸多改進，通過加入雙渦輪技術升級了動力，升級了懸掛，還增加了一套AC Schnitzer運動套裝。由于采用了新的前裙和后裙還有新尾翼，后車頂擾流器進一步改善了下壓力，獲得了更好的路面支持。前部擾流器使用由賽車技術發展而來的鋁金屬的穩定桿結構，亦是寶馬2002的傳統。為獲得更好的抓地力，這部ACS1 3.5i的運動懸掛經過了AC Schnitzer的技術總監Manfred Wollgarten的重新的調校，在紐博格林的北環進行了測試。最大功率從原來車型的306匹躍升至360匹，這部3.5升雙渦輪增壓發動機最大扭矩也提升了50牛米達到了450牛米，直接帶來直線加速性能的提升，百公里的加速時間現在在5秒之內，極速約在250到300KM/h之間。此外還采用了新的賽車式排氣筒和更運動的消聲器，聲音也更加悅耳。車輪方面ACS1采用來自AC Schnitzer的新的合金輪轂，Type IV型“雙色”邊框的19英寸輪轂是改裝者的首選，配備225/35R19輪胎。車內的許多控制鍵和轉換裝置也采用了金屬元件和碳纖維組件。
