簡要說明	奧迪R8 TDI Le Mans概念車曾在2008年的日內瓦車展上亮相，它的車身融入了奧迪在勒芒賽車上的最新技術以及獨特的紅色。明艷的洋紅色噴漆以及絢麗的外形足以帶給人深刻的印象。動力方面，這款車搭載的6.0升V12柴油發動機來自于R10。發動機采用60度夾角設計，共軌柴油噴射系統的高壓油泵由鏈條驅動。除了12個氣缸之外，奧迪還為這款發動機裝上了2個渦輪增壓器，使其最大輸出功率達到500馬力，最大輸出轉矩達到驚人的1000牛米，得益于柴油發動機和雙渦輪增壓技術，該發動機在1750～3000轉/分轉速區間內能輸出超過95%以上的轉矩。匹配6擋自動變速箱，這款車的百公里時速加速時間僅需4.2s，最高速度達到330公里/小時。R8 TDI Le Mans概念車還配備了奧迪“Drive Select”整合式操控系統。此系統提供Dynamic、Sport、Race 3種模式設定，使整合式操控系統得以配合發動機與變速箱的反應，提供電磁感應懸掛最適合的表現。底盤方面，R8 TDI Le Mans配備了先進的奧迪主動式電磁感應懸掛系統，該系統以電磁流體力場作用來精密調整懸掛阻尼系數，減少車輛在顛簸路面行駛的震動與彈跳，提供給車上乘員最舒適的駕乘感受；而且，此避震系統會不斷地監控道路狀況并記憶駕駛員的駕駛風格，以回饋最適當的懸掛反應。R8穩健的性能還得益于其碳纖維強化的陶瓷復合剎車碟盤以及著名的Quattro全時四輪驅動系統。
