簡要說明	DB9 Volante是Aston Martin公司最新的型號，亦是公司歷史上第13款敞篷車。敞篷車的淵源最早可以追溯到1950年的DB2，其它的還包括有DB4，DB5，DB6，V8以及DB7。不過，最新的DB9 Volante是第一輛采用公司獨特的VH(水平垂直)平臺的敞篷車，亦是首先在最新落成的阿斯頓Gaydon工廠里生產的車型(包括DB9 coupe)。當意外時件發生時，座位頭枕將會彈出防滾架來保護乘客的頭部，前風格結實的A柱有2倍其車自重的承重能力。 DB9 Volante亦同樣由公司設計首席Henrik Fisker主筆，有強烈的前輩敞篷車風格，DB9 Volante的車頂可以完全收合隱藏于車內，因此即便敞篷亦能突現整車的圓滑以及優雅的風格。敞篷通過一個按扭來控制，收合時間僅僅需要17秒。DB9 Volante有2個座位，行李箱有197升，而DB7只有170升。該車搭載的是6升V12發動機，百公里時速在5秒以下，最高車速達到300公里/小時，配備6擋自動變速箱以及手動變速箱。該車也是阿斯頓馬丁在2年半內發布的第六款車型，該車亮相2004年底特律車展。
