簡要說明	每當奧迪推出一款新車時，ABT Sportline就會及時推出其改裝版車型。這家德國改裝公司從1970年就開始對大眾和奧迪的車型進行改裝，DTM賽事中的奧迪A4和勒芒賽事中的R8都見證了其不凡的實力。外觀方面，ABT為敞篷版奧迪R8換上了全新的前后保險杠、前進氣隔柵以及搭配了碳化纖維擾流進氣口的前擋板、側裙、后擋板、后擾流器以及輕量化20英寸的五輻輪圈等外觀套件。動力方面，ABT R8 Spyder搭載5.2升V10發動機，經過ABT的調教，最大功率由原來的525馬力提升至600馬力。在匹配的6擋順序變速箱的配合下，百公里加速時間只需3.8秒，最高車速可以達到320公里/小時。同時ABT也為這款車換上了運動型懸掛以加強操控性能。
