簡要說明	1969年，蘭博基尼發布了Miura車型的首款改進型Miura P400S，S是Spinto的縮寫，意為運動。Miura P400S的外觀基本維持了Miura P400的原裝，只是進行了一些小的調整，它的后懸掛經過了改進，輪胎也更換為了倍耐力Cinturato 70系列。但最重要的改進在于其使用了更厚的鋼板用來制造底盤。根據記載，從第125輛Miura開始，金屬板的厚度從0.9毫米增加到了1厘米。此外，Miura P400S還使用了通風剎車盤，隨后，電動窗也成了標準配置。在Miura P400S的內部，蘭博基尼為其安裝了一個帶鎖的手套箱，方向盤材質由皮革代替了原來的木材。同時，中控臺也進行了重新設計，這款車甚至還可以選裝收音機。其他的選裝項目還包括：非標準色彩、金屬色、VIP皮革內飾、一套手提箱、VIP珍珠色、三點式安全帶以及空調，當然這些都是需要付費的。如果客戶想要右舵的版本，蘭博基尼也可以提供，但需要再加付50萬里拉。為了在美國銷售Miura，這款車的撥片式開關被換成了按鍵式，乘員一側也加裝了抓握用的把手。不僅如此，蘭博基尼對Miura P400S的發動機也做了細微的調整，修改了燃燒室的設定，這也使得發動機的最大功率提升至370馬力。盡管蘭博基尼Miura P400S是一輛有所改進的跑車，但是這款車只生產了120輛就被Miura的終極版本——Miura SV所替代。
