簡要說明	1985年，由于各地對環保的關注開始加強，汽車廠商再使用化油器將不能通過許多國家的環保條例，于是，蘭博基尼推出了新的發動機來裝備LP500S車型。在1985年的日內瓦車展上，蘭博基尼推出了單缸4氣門設計，采用當時最先進的燃油供應管理系統——BOSCH K型機械式噴射系統的新發動機（美版采用更先進但馬力稍低的KE型），排氣量被再次加大，達到5.1升，最大功率達到455馬力（美版420馬力），正是這些改變，LP500S被重新命名為LP500QV（QV解作Quattro Valve，意大利文的意思是“4氣門”）。在外觀上，LP500QV延續了之前LP400S、LP500S的設計風格，基本上沒做大的改動，但LP500QV歐版和美版的尾燈設計和前保險杠設計均有不同。自從蘭博基尼Countach LP500S一舉反超法拉利Boxer后，法拉利方面也未肯罷休。1984年，法拉利推出了TestaRoaa，該車輸出最高功率為390馬力，但仍不及蘭博基尼后來推出的這款Countach LP500QV，而即使是法拉利限量生產的288GTO跑車也僅可以提供400馬力的功率。所以說，Countach LP500QV在當時稱雄業界是當之無愧的。蘭博基尼Countach LP500S從1985～1988年共生產了610輛。
