德國的定制車生產商Xenatec集團為邁巴赫豪華轎車開發了一款新的轎跑車車身，這款車看起來與邁巴赫在2005年推出的Exelero概念車非常相似。Xenatec集團將與戴姆勒合作共同生產這款車，而這款車命名為邁巴赫57 S，其中S代表Special，即特別版的意思。

外觀方面，Fredrik Burchhardt為邁巴赫57 S設計了新的車側面板、輪拱和保險杠，由于是雙門設計，因此兩個車門均有所加寬。邁巴赫57 S還去掉了車頂和傾斜的擋風玻璃并將B柱后移，而A柱和C柱經修改后也變得更加傾斜。除此之外，邁巴赫57 S的后輪距還增加了20毫米，這也使得這款車變得更有跑車韻味。動力方面，邁巴赫57 S將搭載最大功率為612馬力的6.0升V12雙渦輪增壓發動機。喜歡運動駕駛的駕乘者會發現，57 S似乎有無窮的力量儲備，其爆發力也不亞于一款成熟的超級跑車。邁巴赫開發團隊還對57 S的懸掛結構進行了改良，使其更加穩固并完全可以滿足不同的需要。除此之外，消費者還可以選裝這款轎車的很多配置，例如全景天窗、20英寸或21英寸鋁合金輪圏以及防彈裝置等。

據了解，邁巴赫57 S將只限量推出100輛，這100輛車將全部由手工打造，而這款車的售價將不低于675000歐元。
