簡要說明	更新版的沃爾沃S60運動款，將于2006年7月中旬在英國上市。其中最大的變化是在底盤上平衡梁的結構優化，可以改善乘坐舒適性和操作性，以保證在與其他小車相碰時降低危險；避震器向上與防滾動橫臂連接在一起，可以改善轉向反應的能力和路感；發動機沒有改變，為橫置五缸直列發動機。外觀上它有一個新的前格柵，帶有更大和更鮮明的沃爾沃象征，前擾流板重新設計以獲得更明顯的效果，且輪廓線延伸至底部。其車門后視鏡與轉向指示燈連在一起，有鋁合金輪胎和疝氣前大燈。在車內，有些小變化，包括運動型方向盤和一些鍍鉻裝飾。內飾以及外觀部分，也都有更高質感的提升，內外的搭配設計讓新車符合整體一致的運動風格。全新設計的三幅式跑車方向盤，除了有銀色飾版的點綴之外，也能夠選配透氣真皮材質，提供操駕時更佳的握感；除此之外，在新一代旗艦車款S80上首度亮相的腕表式儀表設計，在新S60上也同樣能夠選配。 07款S60底盤和懸架系統都經過重新設計，在加強了懸架的剛性之后，不但提升了架控感受，同時在舒適性上也得到改善；沃爾沃引以為傲的4C主動懸架系統也在新車上獲得保留；動力部份沒有太大的變動，還是四款汽油機和兩款柴油機的選擇。
