簡要說明	此前R8被普遍認為是一款平衡性相當出色的高性能跑車，但是4.2升V8離人們心目中的“超級跑車”標準還是有一定差距，R8 V10的推出很大程度上彌補了這一缺憾。在外觀上，R8 V10使用全LED的燈光組合，包括大燈和日間行車燈。此外，車尾加裝了底部氣流擴散器，能提供更大的下壓力。雙橢圓形的排氣管、碳纖維后視鏡、引擎蓋兩側散熱口的金屬外觀、獨特的Y字型合金輪轂等，也是V10版R8的外觀特征。車內則提供Bang and Olufsen音響系統、納帕皮革內飾、碳纖維或鋼琴烤漆面板等。奧迪R8 V10 5.2 FSI quattro的長寬高分別是4434毫米、1930毫米、1252毫米，軸距為2650毫米，搭載5.2升發動機，最大功率輸出為524馬力，最大扭矩輸出為530牛米，配備6擋AMT變速箱，采用全時四驅驅動方式，百公里時速加速需要3.9秒，最高車速可達316公里/小時。
