看到這款車型，第一感覺是勞斯萊斯（尤其是那對頭燈），而看到長長的克萊斯勒商標又讓人想到本特利，看來外國人也脫不開模仿的怪圈，這樣對于我們的紅旗概念車也不能苛求太多了。
世界絕沒有一個設計師敢說設計出的豪華車就敢讓世界接受，從這款車的定位來看，顯然是高檔車型，從尺寸來說至少是瞄上了奔馳S這一級，在這一級別的競爭中，太另類的風格是不能為人所接受的，新加入者除了小心翼翼地對現有的經典進行了適當的小改，他們并沒有太多的可發揮的自由空間。
克萊斯勒Imperial的側面線條簡直就是Phantom的翻版（還有也很像的中央開啟式車門?。?，也賦予了該車未來的克萊斯勒房車旗艦的地位。
新車長寬高分別為5439毫米，1933毫米，1615毫米，軸距為3123毫米。該車搭載5.7升HEMI發動機，最大功率輸出為340馬力，最大扭矩表現為258牛米，配備5擋自動變速箱，百公里時速加速時間在5.5秒左右，安全極速下最高車速可達257公里/小時。
