簡要說明	沃爾沃R-Design運動版保留了S60運動氣息濃厚的車身輪廓。這款車的前格柵與前大燈與普通版S60車型相同，但下進氣口上進氣口變得更長并延伸至霧燈的下方，前霧燈區域的面積也所有縮小，整體感覺更顯大氣和動感。相比普通版S60，R-Design版內飾方面的變化包括采用了包覆性與支撐性更好的運動座椅，同時內飾裝飾也改為黑色基調搭配金屬飾板，帶來冷酷且運動性十足的風格。動力方面，沃爾沃S60 R-Design搭載的是經過升級的3.0T渦輪增壓發動機，最大功率325馬力，峰值扭矩480牛米，比現款沃爾沃S60 T6的渦輪增壓發動機的最大功率提高了20馬力，峰值扭矩提高了40牛米。不僅如此，這款車的R-Design套件同樣讓駕駛更為動感。采用單筒避震的后懸架系統能夠帶來更直接且更迅速的反應，同時更短、更硬的前后彈簧比起標準版車型減少了15毫米，硬度卻增加了15%，底盤因此變得更具動感。此外，這款車標配的DSTS動態穩定與循跡控制系統也經過了升級，更符合R-Design套件的運動特質。除了能夠快速、精確的介入避免車輛失控打滑的發生外，該系統還配備了Sport運動模式，徹底關閉防滑系統，給駕駛員帶來純粹駕馭的駕駛樂趣。
