簡要說明	1965年，設計師Albrecht Graf Goertz，構建了一個汽車夢，BMW 507 Roadster就是這個夢的產物，并且成為了歷史上光輝的一頁。如今，50年已經過去了，507的影響力早已遠去，但那令人癡迷的馬力神話，和經典的V10引擎將會永遠銘刻在所有人的心中。雖然在AC Schnitzer對M5進行外觀調整之前，其已經很吸引人了，但AC Schnitzer還是對其外觀做了一定的改進，提高其空氣動力學性能。首當其沖的就是前大包圍下可調角度的碳纖維擾流板，這個獨特的設計，目的就是為了能增加車頭前部的下壓力，使得M5運動起來之后能更穩定。外觀一個不顯著的改變就是增大了前格柵的孔徑，目的就是為了提高進氣的流暢程度，為V10提供足夠的新鮮空氣。同時也讓M5的前臉看上去更象一頭鯊魚。在M5上AC Schnitzer其實還增加了很多空氣動力學套件，目的都是為了增加下壓力，提高其運動表現能力。在內飾方面上，全部采用了鈦合的色調，重新包裹了皮革的3輻式方向盤和印有AC Schnitzer的AC Schnitzer標準地毯，鋁合金的踏板，同樣帶有LOG的手剎，時刻都會提醒駕駛者這不光是一臺M5，而是一臺經過AC Schnitzer調教過的M5。
