簡要說明	沃克斯豪爾為新車增加新的動力升級組件有如如虎添翼，使本來動力已經非常強勁的VXR8更上了一層樓。但它除了能滿足飆車一族的駕駛欲望外，對于一般消費者并無實際意義，這也是它的一大軟肋所在。這是一款意志力十足的車，和寶馬M3 不同，VXR8需要一些挑釁才愿意展現實力。當在Gooseneck 彎快速從左側游弋到右側，你似乎都會忘記這是一輛重達1800 多公斤的車。盡管方向盤感覺太輕，但是VXR8 的變速箱比前一代要強很多。配合上6 活塞卡鉗和365 毫米巨大的前輪制動盤，足以讓VXR8在Park 和Chris 彎道入口迅速減速。盡管那些小車也可以快速通過Park，但是它們都難與VXR8 相媲美。動力上搭載6.0 升排量V8發動機可以輸出411馬力功率和548.8 牛米的扭矩。憑借這種駭人的動力，在拐彎處著實讓人感到痛快。只有超級跑車才會感到更快，VXR8 的6速手動變速箱在賽道上絕對是首選，但是在日常公路上，選擇自動版本更佳。百公里時速加速時間僅比手動擋的4.9 秒慢0.1 秒，同時它在油耗和排放方面要比手動擋版本好。
