簡要說明	這又是一個新的理念，向來表現出色的奔馳M推出了名為GLK的SUV車型，而且還是一輛雙生型SUV。奔馳M將GLK打造成兩款各具特色的車型，在外觀上明顯氛圍涂裝雙色的Freeside和單色的GLK Twonside，前者更加符合Off-Road的特效那個，主要扮相以粗狂為主，車門的邊框鍍鉻較少，后者全為On-Road設計，外觀設計精致，兩者的水箱護罩也明顯不一樣。奔馳M在底盤部分作了更多的變動，為符合兩者外觀上的差異，奔馳M分別為其設計了專屬的底盤套件，讓他們在車高、輪胎配置也有所不同，如此大手筆的構想，現今也只能有首席車廠才能完成。 Townside使用了更低的懸架設計，高度降低了30毫米，拋光的合金輪轂和更流暢圓滑的車身面板比GLK Freeside概念車看起來更時尚更動感；另一方面，這款Townside概念車配置了更結實的五輪輻合金輪轂、更有個性的車身側裙邊、突出的發動機蓋和車頂行李架，看起來越野風格十足，該車搭載2.2升發動機，有著170馬力的最大功率輸出。
