簡要說明	在外觀上，RX 400h與RX 350有著些許微妙的區別。RX 400h的格柵設計有所改變，加裝了額外進氣口的全新前臉、運動風格的霧燈、金屬感揮散的LED尾燈以及新的車標，其中的h”代表hybrid 混合動力的意思。車身側面飾條末端，附有 HYBRID字樣，同時，車尾400h字樣也很容易識別，400h字樣由藍色突出，這也是在全世界新推廣的標識。在內飾方面，金屬質感的裝飾面板取代了實木內飾，功率輸出表取代了原有的常規轉速表。雷克薩斯RX 350內部盡顯舒適與豪華的元素，在RX 400h里同樣得到傳承。另外：RX400h的全新金屬質感內飾的運用讓這款新車更具現代感，儀表的布局也得到了改進：在通常放置轉速表的位置，RX 400h的設計師安裝了一個自發光的功率輸出表，用于顯示混合動力系統所生成的動力信息。 LEXUS雷克薩斯 RX 400h被定義為一款“完全混合動力”車型，會依據汽車的行駛狀況確定何時汽油發動機會參與工作，以及何時電動機會驅動車輪或利用剎車減速過程為電池充電。 RX400h混合動力系統的綜合輸出功率為272匹強勁馬力(200千瓦)。RX 400h將卓越的加速能力與經濟的燃油消耗巧妙結合在了一起。百公里時速加速僅需7.6秒，這比許多6缸豪華SUV車型還要出色。RX400h的綜合油耗為8.3升/100公里，大大超越了同級別豪華SUV的油耗，甚至優于很多中型轎車。
