簡要說明	在這場LSUV的熱潮中，身為GM車廠最高等級的Cadillac當然不會缺席，由外型來看Escalade EXT會發現與同級車Lincoln Blackwood非常相似，尤其車尾部份更是相似，全車完全沒有黑頭車的嚴肅感，取而代之的是高級且休閑氣氛濃厚的外型，也宣告其它LSUV車廠三廂式的時代已經來臨了。單單就Cadillac Escalade EXT的各項規格來看，Escalade EXT幾乎已是GM車廠高科技配備的展示車，在發動機部分V型八缸的最大馬力為345馬力，變速箱則采用電子控制四速自動變速箱，原廠宣稱此具變速箱可以讓扭力轉換器的扭力損耗減至最低。而Escalade EXT驅動方式則為全輪驅動模式。GM發展的StabiliTrak防滑循跡系統為標準配備。這套系統會偵測輪速的變化，自動分配前后輪的扭力輸出，適度的增加前輪的循跡性與后輪的推力。另外一項重要科技是先進的電子式液壓懸吊系統，這套系統簡稱RSS(Road Sensing Suspension System)會依據路況、車速、轉向、煞車等參數，以每秒1000次的運算速度來自動調整懸吊的阻尼系數，在過彎時減輕側傾度，直線行進時增加舒適度。在與駕駛人互動方面則有GM車廠開發的OnStar聲控虛擬導航系統，此系統可提供導航、道路救援、急難救助等服務，對于有能力擁有此貴氣客貨車的買主而言，確有必要。 Cadillac Escalade不論在品牌名稱還是豪華程度方面，都是與Lincoln Navigator競爭者中的領頭羊。由于裝有附著力控制裝置，減震器能根據道路狀況的變化調節其緩沖力，所以整個運行非常平衡。年輕駕駛者決不是Cadillac目標用戶市場的一部分，但可以經?？吹綆еA貴飾物的美國年輕人進出Escalade豪華車。真皮面的動力座椅可以調整十個狀態，車內裝飾的真皮和木質板,專用的Bose音響設備，以及瑞士造精密計時器，使車內具有一種明顯的Cadillac豪華氛圍。
