日產途樂在保留了途樂系列硬朗的車身線條的基礎上，融入了更多時尚的元素。前臉變化更加的明顯，尺寸夸張的進氣格柵在造型上遵守了家族基因，與菱形的前大燈配合的也相得益彰。車身側面前翼子板上增加了懸浮窗，車身上四個突出的大輪眉極具雕塑感，讓人看起來很有力量。

另外還裝備了類似于　LC200　的液壓車身動態控制系統，可以根據路面的不同情況對車身姿態作出適時調整。日產途樂仍然為三排座車型，內飾整體風格豪華，真皮座椅、DVD　娛樂、上下坡以及胎壓監測等裝備也都悉數出現。并且新車型注重了車內空間的提升，尤其是在第二排乘客的腿部空間方面，新車比老款車型增加了10cm之多。內飾材質也更加的考究，使用了皮革，鋁以及木紋樣條作為點綴。

動力上，新途樂采用了排量更大的5.6L V8發動機。與這臺發動機匹配的是一款全新的7擋自動變速器。最大功率293kw，最大扭矩560牛米。
