簡要說明	在2011年的法蘭克福車展上，福特不僅帶來了?？怂筍T的多個版本，借著完整的家族陣容，福特還帶來了2012年Formula FORD賽事的全新賽車。這輛全新的Formula賽車是第一輛能夠符合FIA規范的鋼管單座式賽車，而這輛車預計將會在2012年于英國舉辦的DUNLOP MSA Formula FORD錦標賽中上場參賽。這輛賽車也應用了很多目前福特量產車中應用的技術，其中一項就是EcoBoost引擎動力科技。福特Formula配備的1.6升EcoBoost燃油直噴發動機，在渦輪增壓系統的助力之下，能夠迸發出165馬力的最大功率和220牛米的峰值扭矩，匹配6擋序列式變速箱，擁有非常不錯的動力表現。不僅如此，相較于先前的賽車，依據FIA國際規范所打造的全新賽車在安全性上有著顯著的提升，包括采用以碳纖維打造的前后車身結構、FIA規格頭枕系統等。 Formula FORD賽事已經歷經了44個年頭，備受賽車手的關注。這一賽事將量產車與賽事用車的技術進行了互通，進一步提升了福特品牌在賽車運動以及量產車方面的實力，可謂是一舉兩得。
