簡要說明	Furai概念車并不像預期的一樣是一款典型的非功能性概念車，這款概念車的車身與Nagare概念車的車身式樣很相像。Furai是馬自達家族的第五款概念車——前四款概念車分別是Nagare、Ryuga、Hakaze與Taiki概念車，這些概念車顯然代表了馬自達未來汽車的新設計理念。馬自達Furai概念車搭載的是一款中置的三轉子馬自達20B轉式發動機，可輸出大約450馬力的動力，這要感謝E100乙醇燃料。這款Furai的設計是由馬自達位于南加州的工作室負責的，并得到了曾設計過雨燕賽車的賽車專家的進一步研發。因此，這款Furai概念車還能產生原始的賽車規格車體大約80%的下壓力。與傳統F1賽車式的通氣管不同，這款Furai概念車是通過一個淺淺的、像葉子一樣薄的杯狀物來通氣的，這個杯狀物的非正式名稱是“air fang”。由于空氣要從該裝置的中間同過，因此便會在該裝置的兩邊各產生兩個旋渦，然后，在不使傳統的通氣管發生功率損失的情形下，將新鮮空氣直接導入進氣口中。
