這款車是德國著名的改裝商卡爾森為Meisel Motorsport team賽車化的SLK 340打造的改裝作品?？柹恢币愿难b奔馳車而見長，不過這家改裝廠除了一般的車輛改裝工作之外，也承擔賽車的量身改裝工作。
這輛來自奔馳旗下的SLK 340賽車是卡爾森受國際爬山賽的Meisel Motorsport委托而為賽事量身打造。作為一款賽事專用車，它的外觀采用了全碳纖維車身，還配備了前擾流板、巨大的尾翼和碩大的后分流器。
卡爾森除了為這輛梅賽德斯-奔馳SLK 340的賽車配備相當張揚的空氣動力套件之外，車內更是采用了碳纖維材質的賽車桶形座椅，同時還配備了符合國際賽車安全規范的安全防護措施。在卡爾森極致的碳纖維材質和鋁合金輕量化打造的理念下，SLK 340賽車的車重被控制在780公斤。
這款車的動力由排量為3.4升的V8汽油發動機提供，最大輸出功率610馬力，峰值扭矩430牛米。與發動機相匹配的是專用于賽車的Hewland變速箱，帶有換擋撥片。不僅如此，卡爾森也為其換上KW的三段可調式賽車專用的懸掛系統，高性能剎車卡鉗，18英寸BBS賽車化輪轂和AVON跑胎。
