簡要說明	Rondo究竟是什么車型？它一半是高大的掀背車，一半是7座小型客貨車，這使其成為一種較小的交叉車型。北美有很多這樣的家用貨車，比如三菱Expo/LR-V，道奇Colt Vista和Eagle Vista，日產Axxess和本田思域旅行車，但實際上，現在唯一與Rondo競爭的是馬自達5，在大小上可能是梅賽德斯-奔馳B系列。起亞還用緊密地彈簧減震設計為Rondo設計了一種新型復合鉸鏈式后懸掛，通過很低的抬升就能將貨物放進儲物區里，就不用說第三排座椅的空間了。 Rondo與同類車輛的其他不同點是其與普通掀背車相結合的設計。相同比例的玻璃與金屬材料和側車身較低的環形線減輕了它的廂式客貨車外觀，具有同樣作用的還有輪廓清晰的發動機蓋、標準的風擋玻璃角以及應用普通側門而非滑動車門的決定。該車動力上搭載2.4升發動機，最大功率輸出為162馬力。
