簡要說明

之所以稱獎狀 CJ3是現代輕型公務機的“代表作”或“典型”，理由有三點。第一，技術與設備新。CJ3于2004年10月獲得FAA型號適航證，是新一代輕型公務機，裝備Williams FJ44-3A新型帶雙通道FADEC控制發動機，單臺2820磅起飛推力。該發動機利用了下一代空氣動力學元件和寬弦風扇等新技術，增加了發動機的推力輸出，提高了燃油效率。配合擴充功能強的科林斯Pro Line 21儀表系統，保證技術上多年不落后。

第二，典型輕型機性能。CJ3可乘坐6名VIP旅客加1名隨員，773km/hr速度，最大3473公里航程，滿足多數中短旅程用戶需要。發動機大修間隔4000小時讓使用率提高。

第三，保修期長。CJ3機身和標準儀表保修期為5年或5000飛行小時（先到為準），發動機保修期為3年或1500飛行小時，對用戶非常有利。

對于初涉公務機的中國用戶，從CJ3起步似是不錯選擇，例如乘坐6-7客從北京直飛香港、廣州等，基本滿足國內旅行需要，購買和使用成本相對中型機低很多。CJ3是曾經暢銷多年的550型（獎狀II和升級版獎狀Bravo）之換代產品。
